RICARDO’S PIZZA DONATION

Connie Feeney, a member of Branch 15, persuaded Richard Gotzen, a manager from Ricardo’s Pizza, into donating pizzas for a Saturday lunch while the meat draw was going on.  Richard donated twelve varied pizzas for the enjoyment of the members present and they did enjoy all twelve.  He was then presented with a certificate of appreciation which was much deserved!

 

At the entrance to Branch 15 are two cedar trees, which are decorated each November with artificial flowers to look as close as possible to poppies.  Sharon Rathbone, who was Secretary in 2017, now the Public Relations Officer, donated the poppies that surround the base of the trees and promised to do so each year as a reminder of our fallen comrades.
