BRANCH 15 DONATION TO THE BLIND

The Military Mounted Police Riders attended the Abbotsford Legion Branch 15 on July 29th where Yves Ouellet accepted  a donation of $5,000.00 from President Robert Rohrer.

This is the tenth anniversary of the organization and they have been coming to the branch for the past five years.

This visit was the first time they had a Royal Canadian Mounted Police escort.

In appreciation of the efforts made by the members of the Legion Branch 15, they presented a plaque to Robert that will be displayed in the branch for all to see. The riders travel across Canada with some dropping off along the way, while other members join the group, with the sole purpose of collecting donations for the blind.
