• It is indeed sad that another one of our long serving branch 15 members passed away on July 12, just about 3 months short of his 100th birthday. Not only did Cyril serve in WWII, notably in the D-Day Landings, but he devoted much time to giving talks in the local schools during the Remembrance Day period, and also spent many years volunteering at the Clayburn Museum for the Clayburn Historical Society, giving tours there. To read a fuller story story about Cyril in World War II and in local activities plus see some photos, please use the drop down “Cyril Holbrow Story” under the News tab on the Menu bar. Also under the “News” tab is the story, plus videos and photos, of Cyril receiving his Legion of Honour Medal, given by the French Government for those involved in the D-Day landings.

  • To view the calendar please click on the above heading “2021 August Calendar” OR the way we also used to do it: please tap on EVENTS on the Menu Bar and select the drop down ‘2021 August Calendar’ tab there. That calendar is larger.

A big thanks to Connie Feeney for sending this calendar and for re-starting the calendar feature. 😊

  • Good News! The branch is now open from Wednesday through Saturday in the afternoons. The August Calendar is now posted and gives the times for the events, Music Bingo Wed. & Fri., Live Music Thurs. & Sat. with Keno on Thurs. and a Meat Draw on Saturday. NOTE: The UPCOMING EVENTS COLUMN has now been corrected and does also show the forthcoming events.

  • Sadly one of our long serving members passed away on February 23rd.  To read a story about Andy in World War II and in local activities plus see some photos, please use the drop down “Andy Anderson Story” under the News tab on the menu bar.
