I hope this email finds you all well and enjoying your summer to date.
A couple of items to bring to your attention:
2020 Early Bird Campaign starts Friday August 30th your dues this year will be $60.00 and can be paid at the bar.
We will be instituting a price increase at the bar effective Wednesday September 7th. SEE DROP DOWN MENU UNDER THE NEWS COLUMN FOR FULL DETAILS.
We will also be starting a Happy Hour program Wednesday, Thursday & Friday from 4pm to 7pm.

Margaret Vines, membership chairperson for the Abbotsford Legion, introduced her friends June and Sandy McAlpine to the branch when they first moved to Abbotsford. They became our stalwart makers if Fish ‘n’ Chips. Unfortunately they are leaving for Campbell River; our loss will be Campbell River’s gain. Use the drop down tab under the “News” column for a fuller story and a picture of the three of them.

Bryan Lutz, Communications Director of BC/Yukon Command assisted by Paul Reid, came to branch 15 to videotape an interview with Peter Slade about his book “Abbotsford Forgotten Soldiers of World War One”. See the drop down tab under the “News” column to view the video and obtain details of the book, including some sample stories in the book.
