  • Good Evening Comrades,

Here’s hoping this email finds you all well.

Please be reminded that on this Sunday May 26th at 2pm is our Annual General Meeting. At this meeting are our elections. If you are coming you will need to provide your Legion card or receipt to prove you are a member in good standing in order to be able to attend. Membership dues will not be accepted on the day of the AGM.

Also a reminder that all those that are running must accept that if elected they will be required to provide the branch an updated police check at the branch’s expense. This information will remain in confidence with the President and the Liquor Control Board. This will be required by the end of June in order to comply with the Liquor Control Board.

If your name is not currently on the board and you wish to run you will be given the opportunity to have someone nominate you from the floor once the election starts.

This current executive has persevered and have made great inroads in to making the branch stable. I hope the upcoming executive can carry on in the same vein.

    Yours In Comradeship,

    Cathy St. John
Branch Administrator, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 15
