  • Abbotsford was again blessed with dry conditions for the annual ceremony.  After all the days of rain this Fall, it seemed like divine intervention.  There was a good turnout for the ceremony with Honorary Colonel Jim Happer of the 39 Combat Engineers, Chilliwack, Royal Canadian Engineers, who is also a long term Legion Branch 15 Member, doing Master of Ceremonies duties this year. • During World War One, the Abbotsford Post published an Honour Roll of Abbotsford & District men who enlisted and those who were killed.  Yet some of these men have been “overlooked” and their names are not on the Abbotsford Cenotaph.  Come to the presentation on the evening of November 8 at the Clearbrook Library to learn about a number of these men, where they fought, died and were buried. Please note that the venue has been changed to the Clearbrook Library

  • A Remembrance Day Concert has been sponsored by our Branch 15.  The Valley Festival Singers will be performing and admission is free to Legion members who must present their member Cards to MB Bakerview Church to obtain a ticket on either November 11 or 12.  Click on to the heading to go to the page with the link for the Poster:  2016-vfs-remembrance-day
